Elizabeth Large

Elizabeth grew up immersed in the holistic lifestyle and lives by a deep belief in her connection to nature, practising whole food nutrition, natural birthing, complementary healthcare, herbalism, massage, yoga and meditation. These self practises led her to qualify as a Holistic Therapist in 2000 and to begin her training in Usui Reiki, studying the traditional way over a 5 yr period.

In 2005 she deepened her knowledge of the human body and psyche with a BSc Hons in Therapeutic Bodywork drawing on the soft tissue approach from Osteopathy, studying with Leon Chaitow, breathing and postural awareness and re-education, and learning from her tutors who are prominent Rolfing and Hakomi Bodycentered Psychotherapy teachers and practitioners.

Since originally qualifying in 2000 Elizabeth has worked as a practitioner within the Financial Sector, Physiotherapy Clinics, Multidisciplinary Clinics, and voluntary as a Clinical Aromatherapist on the Youth Oncology ward at UCLH. Her passion throughout this process of learning and practising has been the transformative power of connection, presence and listening which she brings to each encounter and her belief in the flow of energy as medicine.
